It's easy to join or transfer

To join, or transfer to, the ANZ KiwiSaver Scheme simply download and read the ANZ KiwiSaver Scheme guide and product disclosure statement and then choose one of the options below.

How to apply if you're aged 18 or over

Please choose one of the options below:

  • apply online via:

ANZ Internet Banking or ANZ goMoney - simply log into ANZ Internet Banking or ANZ goMoney and click on the 'Apply & open' section, or

ANZ’s Online Store - use this option if you don't have access to ANZ Internet Banking or ANZ goMoney

  • call us on 0800 736 034
  • visit any local branch
  • complete Form A (at the back of the guide and product disclosure statement) and send to us.

How to apply if you're aged 17 or under

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Complete Form B (at the back of the guide and product disclosure statement).
  2. Visit any ANZ branch with your completed application form, and original or certified copies of the documents requested on the application form.

Important note

You will need to provide proof of identification and residential address if: 

  • you're not an existing ANZ customer, or
  • your current identification on record doesn't satisfy new identification requirements.

Eligibility criteria

Please note that to join a KiwiSaver scheme, you must be:

  • a New Zealand citizen or entitled to remain in New Zealand indefinitely
  • living or normally living in New Zealand (subject to certain exceptions for state services workers)
  • under the qualifying age for New Zealand Superannuation (currently 65 years).
